From apartment buildings to hospitals

Distributed generation using SOFC technology offers efficient power generation in a number of locations, for instance in hospitals, shopping malls, in apartment buildings and generally in areas with low power capacity.

Like any power generating technology, the SOFC technology generates heat. This heat may be used in combined heat and power plants (CHP), achieving higher energy efficiency.

Off-grid power

An SOFC genset operates with a significant fuel consumption reduction compared to a diesel generator. This is a huge advantage in regions where fuel transport is expensive and the environment is delicate.

Fuels

The SOFC technology can operate on diesel, LPG or other transportation fuels resulting in an electrical efficiency of 50% or more.
